- KOHIMA — The Naga
Students' Federation (NSF) on Wednesday clarified that it has been actively
pursuing the case against the absorption of 147 ad hoc faulty members for
nearly six and a half months, handling it with sensitivity and patience.
- Addressing media persons, the vice president of NSF,
Mteisuding, also refuted claims of the NSF's silence on the issue.
- "The federation has been silent on social media because
we felt it was not necessary for NSF to comment. Being a mature body, we speak
by our actions, not words alone," he maintained.
- The student leader further addressed "false
allegations" levelled against one of the NSF's units on the first day of
the protest.
