Rio graces blood donation camp in New Delhi

EMN Dimapur, September 6 M.P and former Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio graced the blood donation camp held at Nagaland House, New Delhi, as the chief guest, which was organised by the NSUD along with the Rotary Club Blood Bank a world-renowned blood bank. Chairman of the blood bank, Sudarshan Agarwal, former Governor of Sikkim and Uttarakhand was the guest of honour. The M.P expressed his happiness and congratulated the Union for taking a right message in the capital as well as back home. Nagas were once head hunters, we use to take other bloods earlier but now we are contributing our precious blood for other people to save life, who are in need and helpless persons. “We should motivate the youths to do good for society and our fellow human beings. The students are the most important component of the society do not be liability to the society but be a contributor for the society, blood has no boundary, no tribe no caste or religions but for everyone. Today Delhi and NCR region and the society of North East and Naga community needs a huge requirement of blood to save life. So let’s contribute the best quality of blood that the youth can donate.” M.P also thanked the Rotary Blood Bank for leading the nation with a quality blood bank, and wished that Almighty God blessed the donor and the receiver. The Naga community in particular and North East community in general can do alot in promoting our cultural festivals and many more in the capital, Rio said and assured that the Northeast M.P Forum will help the community in days to come with their best ability in financial as well as guidance. Later, the M.P also graced the Tangkhul Union Freshers’ Day as the chief guest at Tyagiraj Stadium, New Delhi.
