‘We Care: Love is Giving’ fundraiser concert that was held on September 16 raised an amount of INR 1,33,510 for the landslide affected people of Kiphire.
The event was organised by a group of young likeminded artists, entrepreneurs and professionals from Kohima, Dimapur and Mokokchung.
Organisers handed over the amount to Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) Youth Secretary Vikuo Rhi on Oct. 1.
The NBCC will be giving it to the church association in Kiphire, the United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimukhong (USBLA) through its executive secretary Rev. C. Lima.
The concert was initiated by Symphony Productions and Symphony Academy of Music in collaboration with the NBCC, Indihut and Musicians Guild, and supported by Rattle & Hum Music Society.
The organisers in an update expressed gratitude to all the artists who performed at the concert, the event partners Eastern Mirror, Seyie Auto, Lighthouse UBC, LEAD Entertainment, Ciekhan Fitness, Shiu Lights, de Oriental Grand, The Eastgate Hotel, LifePro Sound Solution, Imprint, Decibel, Ete Coffee, and Occasions for their support, and Unitex, Coz Cafe, Lhouvi Mezhür and Colo Mero for their contributions towards the event.
