Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): The organising committee of the Wokha District Women’s Sports Association (WDWSA) will organise the ‘6th edition of Women Football & Volley Ball Championship’ in the third week of November.
The association in an update informed that the tournament is organised in memory of late Emi Shitiri (Merry), the first women IAS from Lotha community.
The organisers have also extended invitation to teams from other districts to take part in the tournament.
Attractive prizes in the form of cash and certificates shall be awarded in both the disciplines. WDWSA stated that information regarding exact date of the tournament, rules and regulation and prize money will be issued later. For more information, one may contact 8787361612/9612356399.
