Dimapur, Nov. 27 (EMN): Asserting the demand of Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) for good roads, bridges, uninterrupted power supply, water supply etc are citizens’ right, the Western Chakhesang Youth Organisation (WCYO) has joined the chorus for timely repair of roads and bridges.
WCYO has, in a press release issued by its president Likalo Letro and the general secretary Vekho Ruho, extended wholehearted support to the demand and assured its full co-operation in the fight for justice.
WCYO has expressed serious concern over the near total collapse of basic public utility infrastructures in the state. It pointed out with distress that the state has been surviving on the infrastructure created during World War II era and the early 1960s and 70s, while the neighboring states are building international airports, flyovers, the nation’s longest bridge, multi-lane roads and Bridges, modern stadiums etc.
In the light of the above stated circumstances, WCYO has extended its support to the demand made by the WSYF.
