Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): Western Chakhesang Youth Organisation (WCYO) has installed new team of office bearers on June 20 led by Likalo Letro as president.
Speaking on the occasion, outgoing president Shelepa Rhakho expressed gratitude for the support received during his tenure and encouraged the new team to take the youth forward with patience, love and unity.
Addressing the programme, the new president Likalo Letro expressed confidence that the new team would be able to continue the legacy of his predecessors. He also expressed gratitude for reposing faith on him to lead the new team. He further thanked the outgoing team for building the organisation to its present stature.
The programme saw handing and taking over of files and discussion on various issues. The new team included Shekhotso Medeo and Nukuzo as vice presidents, Vekho Ruho as general secretary, Kevemudo Vero and Wekupe Therie as joint secretaries, Wekhro K Mero as finance secretary, Metshewe-ü Mero as treasurer, Joel Koza as games and sports secretary, Zekote Wezah as assistance games and sports secretary, Kuvezolu Tetse-o as women coordinator, Thepusho Nienu as cultural secretary, and Surhota Yhobu as information and publicity secretary.
