
Dimapur, June 7 (EMN): Working Committee of the Naga National Political Groups (WC-NNPG) and representatives from the Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland), Zeliangrong Youth Front (AMN), Zeliangrong Students’ Union (AMN), Zeliangrong Baudi (Manipur) held a meaningful consultative meet on June 7 in Dimapur.
During the meeting, the Zeliangrong civil society organisation leaders have appreciated the WC- NNPG for taking on board all Naga tribes beyond Nagaland state. They expressed hope that since the political negotiations with all Naga groups had concluded on October 31, 2019, Naga people in Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland would be restored of their identity and political rights through honourable and acceptable political solution.
The Zeliangrong CSO leaders from three states acknowledged that Agreed Position and subsequent status paper of WC- NNPG has given a transparent and explicit future position of Nagas, which is acceptable to all sections.
Zeliangrong CSO leaders further expressed full support and endorsed the WC-NNPGs Agreed Position and urged the WC to bring honourable solution at the earliest.
