Dimapur, September 1 : Local authorities of ward-2 in Dimapur have assured that those involved in adulteration of fuel would be ‘vacated’ from the jurisdiction. A note from the ward's authorities on Thursday said to have met on the 25th.
“They discussed the recent exposure of the kingpins of the oil adulterators by the ACAUT, by which the council of ward-2 Dimapur have resolved to take stern action after the competition of administrative and judicial proceedings, by vacating those involved from the jurisdiction of the council,” the press release stated. ‘The chairman has also instructed all the members and office bearers of the council to remain alert and will not permit any individual or group to infiltrate within the jurisdiction of the council. The ward-2 council praised the police department for their strict vigilance on the movement of the adulterators (sic),’ it stated.
