Wanglem Konyak joins Congress

DIMAPUR — Former candidate from 43 Tapi Assembly Constituency, Wanglem Konyak, who ran as an NPF candidate in the 14th NLA election and was defeated by a narrow margin of 82 votes, has officially joined the Indian National Congress with his supporters. According to an update, the team was warmly received by NPCC president S Supongmeren Jamir and party leaders at Congress Bhavan, Kohima. Konyak will now be the official INC candidate for the bye-election.
