Dimapur, October 4: Senior Treasury Officer, Wokha, N Kithan, inaugurated a waiting shed for pensioners at Treasury office compound, Wokha. Unveiling the memorial stone, he thanked all the staff for the cooperation and contribution towards the construction of the waiting shed and further urged all the pensioners to have the sense of ownership and use it judiciously.
President of Pensioner Association, Wokha, Yihamo, who spoke on behalf of the pensioners, thanked the Treasury Officer and the staff for fulfilling the long felt need and making their aspiration into reality. Short speech was also delivered by STO Wokha and Baghty.The waiting shed was constructed from the contribution from Wokha and Baghty Treasury Officers and staff.
Senior Treasury Officer also thanked the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Wezope Kenye, and the Project Director, DRDA Wokha, for donating CGI Sheet towards the construction of the waiting shed.
