Volleyball tournament begins in Mangkolemba

Dimapur, November 3: The Mangkolemba Sub-Division Inter-Range Volleyball Tournament started on Thursday at Mangkolemba under Mokokchung district. Director, Directorate of Industries and Commerce BendanglibaTzudir attended the programme as the chief guest for the opening programme. In his speech, he reminisces the glory days of the former players from Mangkolemba sub-division that were regarded as the best in the state and encouraged the players to reach those heights and quality. The tournament has been organised by the Mangkolemba AoLanurTelongjem (MALT) in commemoration of the ADC Headquarter Silver Jubilee.Eight teams are participating in the tournament, a press release stated. The first match was won by Loyong Village team playing against Team Mangkolemba. The tournament will have both day and night matches and will conclude on November 4.
