Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, has recently launched the latest addition to its smartphone lineup in India - the Vivo X90 series. This series succeeds the previous Vivo X80 series and comprises two models: the Vivo X90 and the Vivo X90 Pro.

The vanilla Vivo X90 comes equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13. It boasts a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone packs a 4,810mAh battery, which supports 120W wired charging. The device comes with a triple-camera system which includes a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation, a 12MP telephoto camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP selfie camera.

The Vivo X90 Pro also uses the same Dimensity 9200 chipset but it has a better display with 2K resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The X90 Pro also has a much bigger 4,870mAh battery that supports wired charging of up to 120W and wireless charging of up to 50W.

The X90 Pro comes with a triple-camera system which includes a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. One thing to note is that the X90 Pro's main camera uses a 1-inch sensor which the company claims is capable of shooting DSLR-like images.

If you're interested in purchasing the X90 Pro, it's only available in Legendary Black colour and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration, priced at INR 84,999.

On the other hand, the X90 comes in two colours, Asteroid Black and Breeze Blue, and has memory options of 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB, priced at INR 59,999 and INR63,999, respectively.

Both phones will be available for purchase through Vivo India's official website, Flipkart, and retail stores in India starting May 5.
