Dimapur observes Vishva Namokar Diwas with a special chanting session praying for global peace and social harmony.

DIMAPUR — A special Namokar Mahamantra chanting was organised at Mahavir Bhawan, Digambar Jain School, and Digambar Jain Hospital in Dimapur on April 9 to mark Vishva Namokar Diwas and pray for world peace.
According to an update, the event was held under the leadership of the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) team and the guidance of the Digambar Jain Samaj.

A large number of members from various communities participated in the event. Representatives and members from the Jain Samaj, Agarwal Samaj, Maheshwari Samaj, and Brahmin Samaj gathered at Mahavir Bhawan and collectively offered prayers for global peace through the chanting of the mantra.
At Digambar Jain School, students and teachers participated in the chanting. Similarly, at Digambar Jain Charitable Hospital, doctors, staff, and patients joined the chanting along with community members.
