Kohima, Oct. 22 (EMN): Local artiste Vipito Swu is back with his second original single titled "More than love".
His official video was released on Oct. 21.
Sharing his new track with Eastern Mirror, Swu said, "More Than Love" started as an imagery story in his head, a sort of happy ending everyone wish for.
When faced with life's uncertainties, he shared a sense of longing that is only created by visualising a picture in the head, sometimes for self-validation as a form of protection from insecurities.
"I had not realised back then that I was truly and closely experiencing the definition of love, how it faithfully means to have someone take care of you and understand you. They come in the form of your significant other, your friends, your siblings, your parents, your ashu and apuza (grannie and grandpa) and sometimes your pets", Swu said, translating further the new song.
These are the people, ‘who water you and help you grow in life,’ he said.
"More Than Love" is not just a song but a testament, a story, a journey of love, sharing and living," Swu described.
The 24-year-old is currently pursuing music at Margaret Shishak School of Music in Chümoukedima, with major in voice.
Written, composed, and sung by the artiste himself, the song is now available on all major streaming platforms and the official music video is up on his YouTube channel (Vipito Swu).
Cover art for the song was done by Ibeto V Swu. Audio production by Infinite Records Kohima, Moyuchen Yanthan, video production by Asemyoumba Jamir and One Nagaland, Gaffer by Khrievelie Suohumvu and sound by Talimeren Longchar.
Swu released his original debut "Too young" in 2020 featuring Victor Kath. He also did a couple of cover songs including "Make you feel my love" by Bob Dylan.
