Dimapur, Oct. 14 (EMN): Nagaland on Monday thrashed the neighbouring state Manipur by 115 runs in the ongoing Men’s U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2019-20.
This was informed by the joint secretary of Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), A Rahman in an update made available to the media on October 14.
Nagaland chose to bat first after winning the toss and put up a total of 142 (all out) in 41 overs. Vedansh and Shamphri helped the state put up a descent total with 53 runs and 16 runs respectively.
Bidash and Sadananda took four wickets each for Manipur to restrict the score of Nagaland.
However, Ram Jangir and Odilemba ripped through the batting line-up of Manipur with six wickets and three wickets respectively to help Nagaland win by 115 runs.
