Dimapur, Aug. 23 (EMN): Some villages under Thonoknyu Hq in Tuensang district still remains cut off after many bridges, roads and fields were washed away by the heavy rains recently.
A directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) news, while updating about the situation in the sub-division, informed that the SDO (C) Thonoknyu, Anoka Assumi distributed relief materials to those affected by recent monsoon rains at Thonoknyu HQ on Aug. 22.
It informed that the SDO (C), while distributing the relief material, also thanked the Royal Enfield Motor Cycle Club Dimapur for donating 12 bags of rice,10 kgs tea leaves and 30 kgs Dal as relief and also other friends for donating blankets and other relief materials to affected villagers.
