Five students from Chümoukedima selected for state-level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament following district competition at Tetso College.

DIMAPUR — The district-level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament under Phase I of the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Programme was conducted at Lorin Hall, Tetso College campus, Sovima, on March 3.
The programme was organised by Tetso College in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and MY Bharat under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
According to an update, the programme was attended by K Manikanta, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat; and Kvulo Lorin, Chairman of Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation.

The competition witnessed participation from various institutes across the Chümoukedima district on the theme “50 years of emergency: Lessons for Indian democracy".
Khrieketouzo Peter Sekhose from NIT Nagaland secured the first position, followed by Mholomi from Tetso College in the second position. Kereineilie John from ICFAI University took the third position. Neiketouno Thapo from NEISSR and Kiumuhean H from Tetso College jointly secured the fourth position.
All five winners will represent the Chümoukedima district at the upcoming state-level youth parliament competition.
The programme concluded with remarks and prize distribution by the judges, followed by the vote of thanks delivered by Letsol Thakro, coordinator and programme officer, Tetso NSS.
