Vijay Hazare Trophy: Nagaland registers win against Mizoram

Dimapur, Feb. 23 (EMN): Nagaland defeated Mizoram in the second match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy by 29 runs.

Nagaland won the toss and elected to bat first.  Stuart Binny scored 80 runs while Sedezhalie Rupreo and Jonathan Rongsen scored 62 and 65 runs respectively.

Varte Kima  took five  wickets for Mizoram  while G Lalbiakvela, Pratik Desai and Bobby took one wicket each.

Pratik Desai from the Mizoram team scored 141 runs while Stuart Binny, Nagaho Chishi and Khrievitso Kense claimed two wickets each.

Nagaland’s next match will be played against Assam on Feb. 25 at 9 am.
