
Dimapur, Nov. 11 (EMN): Vihuzo Kense from St. Joseph’s College Jakhama won Mister Kohima season-3.
An update issued on Nov. 11 informed that the event was hosted by Meraki Entertainment Nagaland in Association with ETÈ COFFEE and Powered by Excel Logics. The event was held at Jotsoma on Nov. 9.
On winning the title, Vihuzo Kense has got a direct entry to Garnier Mister Northeast man hunt 2022.
The title was sponsored by EDUVERSITY.
Leiwang Wangsa from St. Joseph’s college Jakhama and Chubanungba Imsong from Baptist College Kohima won 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively.
The three winners were given away gifts and vouchers worth INR 30,000 from Lisu Care, Mixpick, Abelia Casket, Parlaboka, NR studio and Gifted Creation.
Besides, the winners will also get the opportunity to walk the ramp at Asa Movi fashion show.
The judges who sealed the fate of this year’s winners included Dr. Theyie, Assistant Professor in Kohima College; Veineinem Singson, Miss Nagaland 2014, Miss North East Jewel Queen 2016; and Dode Nakhro Managing Director Voque Entertainment Nagaland.
Vihuzo Kense from St. Joseph’s College won the Mr. Popularity title, Leiwang wangsa from St. Joseph’s College won Mr. Multimedia; Kedouvi Ramai from St. Joseph’s college won Best Ethnic Wear; and Reuben Revii from Northfield Hr. Sec. School won Mr. Talent.
14 contestants vied for the title and went through three rounds— ethnic wear, designer and formal round.
Sanjeev Tamang groomed, mentored and choreographed the event, while Ralan Patton was the contestant manager.
The event was hosted by musician Mengu Soukhrie with Vikuonuo Sachü, Miss Nagaland 2019 as the announcer.
Abdon Mech & Akhriezo, Virie, Vipito and A&m girls also performed during the grand finale.
The designer of the event was Neisa Riipreo.
Meraki Entertainment Nagaland has been hosting various shows such as Miss Kiphire, Mister Kohima, Mister Dimapur and Mister Chümoukedima. Established in 2018, Meraki Entertainment Nagaland has been working to promote, develop and stimulate the growth of Naga youth in the field of arts and the fashion industry.
