Dimapur, Sep. 27 (EMN): Veterinary Hospital Kohima (VHK) conducted a two-day free anti-rabies vaccination awareness campaign at Lower Forest Colony, Kohima, on September 26 and 27.
During the programme, veterinary surgeon, Dr. Elizabeth Yhome, has stressed the need for administering anti-rabies vaccination in dogs and cats as it also affects human beings. Altogether, 236 dogs were vaccinated during the campaign.
Meanwhile, to commemorate ‘World Rabies Day,’ the Veterinary Hospital Kohima (VHK) under the department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services will conduct a free anti-rabies vaccination camp on September 28 at the premises of Veterinary Hospital Kohima. In an update, veterinary surgeon, Dr. Elizabeth Yhome, has informed that all pet owners to bring their pet dogs/ cats and avail the facility from 9 am onwards.
