Veineinem Singsong today emerged the most beautiful woman of the State after being crowned Miss Nagaland 2014 at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts here. The beauty pageant, organized by Beauty & Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN), was held in commemoration of 25 years Miss Nagaland existence.
Standing at 5.6 feet with vital statistics at 72-27-35.5, Veineinem outclassed 16 other contestants vying for the coveted title.
Kaheli Chophy and Mulevesalu Keyho bagged the first and second runner-up position respectively.
Wanting to be successful entrepreneur, Veineinem in the Top Ten Round said knowing about each other’s personality was important as it helps in getting close to each other besides understanding and building a stronger relationship.
During the test of brain and beauty of the last five contestants wherein the host Miss Nagaland 2005 queried about the greatest problem being faced by Nagas and her solution thereof, Veineinem termed unemployment and socio-economic development as the greatest problem of Naga society.
Her solution to the problem was that youths should take up entrepreneurship so as to help oneself and also help the State achieve better economic status.
Threading ornaments is her hobby and she feels strongly about social-economic development. She aims to be an administrative officer.
Winning the crown, she walked away with a cash prize along with gift hampers from different companies. First and second runners-up and sub-title winners also received cash and gift hampers.
