Dimapur, Nov. 1 (EMN): The second day of the Dimapur Youth Festival witnessed a night of fun and entertainment at DDSC stadium, Dimapur, on November 1.
The three-day event is being jointly organised by MW Enterprise in collaboration with Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU), Act of Kindness Society, Kongro Naga On Wheels (KNOW) and Musik-A.
The event of the second included cosplay, bamboo climbing, art demonstration, eating competition and band hunt. It was followed with a live concert featuring Tune-up Channel, solo artiste Nungshitula Pongener and Vito Awomi, winner of August Rush 2109.
Since 90’s, a musical band, won the band hunt contest and received a cash prise of INR 1 lakh, while the runners-up Paradigm Shift received a cash price of INR 50,000.
In the individual category Among Lemtur was declared the best guitarist, while Razo Tenenu was declared best bassist, Imli was declared best drummer, Mohshan was declared best keyboardist, and Welly was declared best vocalist.
The individual winners of the band hunt received INR 5000 each.
Kito A Yepthomi was adjudged best performer and Bekah Chan won the best costume in the cos[lay competition. Both of them received INR 10000.
Roko Chalie won the eating competition and walked with INR 5000.
Apong Aier, S Mongtsua Lani and Wapang were the winners of the bamboo climbing competition and received INR 2000 each.
