Vanguard Academy Tseminyu defeated Nurturing Youngsters 7-2 in the Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League in Kohima.

KOHIMA — Vanguard Academy Tseminyu registered a 7-2 victory over Nurturing Youngsters in the first Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League 2026 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima on Thursday.
Sinlo Seb scored five goals for Vanguard Academy Tseminyu, finding the net in the second, 11th, 28th, 41st, and 75th minutes. Hiti added two more goals in the 42nd and 60th minutes to complete the seven-goal tally.
Nurturing Youngsters managed to score two goals through Viketo Tase, who found the net in the 69th and 89th minutes.
The match was the second fixture of the league.

During the first match played on Wednesday, Mez & Co FC defeated Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation (TYO) by two goals. For the winning team, Radovei Roshimai scored the opening goal in the 29th minute, while Vinato added the second in the 90th minute.
The third match of the league will be played on Friday between Sechü Zubza FC and Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation (TYO) at 3 pm.
The first Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League 2026 is organised by the Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) under the aegis of the Nagaland Football Association, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports.
