DIMAPUR — Uttar Pradesh marched into the semi-finals of Dr. T. Ao Junior Girls’ National Football Championship 2025–26 (Tier 2) with a commanding 3–0 victory over Tripura on Friday at Chümoukedima.
A press release stated that UP wasted no time stamping authority on the contest. Within seconds of kick-off, sustained pressure forced a defensive miscue, with Tripura’s Uniki turning the ball into her own net in the 1st minute to hand Uttar Pradesh a dream start.
The early drama didn’t end there. Just a minute later, in the 2nd minute, Mansi—one of UP’s standout players of the tournament—pounced with a composed finish to make it 2–0, leaving Tripura stunned before they could find their rhythm.

UP’s dominance carried into the second half, and their persistence paid off again in the 60th minute when Shbana calmly slotted in the third goal to seal the result.
