The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) had a joint meeting with the Alisopur Village Council on May 23 last with regard to the 68th annual-meet-cum-standing committee meeting to be held in the month of January 2016. The Alisopur village council agreed to host the meeting. Meanwhile the Executive Chairman Justin Khatomong and Executive Secretary Yangdipi Sangtam along with its official inspected development activities within the vicinity of the village and found out many irregularities on the part of the department concerned, like the construction of community hall which is supposed to be completed is half done, the PMGSY road is given a lipstick touch and abandoned half way, a press note informed.
It appealed the departments concerned to complete all the ongoing works before its forthcoming annual meet.
It also expressed support to the proposal by the village council for creation of a Sub-Health Centre. In this regard, it appealed “the higher authority to kindly take up the proposal in interest of the rural areas and its people. “
