A team of medical doctors from the United States provided health service in a medical camp, organised by the Assemblies of God East India, held at Bethesda Higher Secondary School of Dimapur. According to a statement, the Proprietor and General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, East India said, the visiting team of 11 members, under the Assemblies of God-World Missions, had been conducting various camps in the North-eastern region including four in Assam where medical assistance in the form of medicines and spectacles were handed over to the patients. Head of the visiting team Dr Robert, a dentist by profession, said he was mesmerised by the countryside, the people and the hospitality given to them. The doctor said, the team, all self sponsored, conducts medical camps at various locations, only when invited by a concerned personality and that they were in Dimapur on Rev Moses Murry’s invitation. He expressed desire to come again to conduct such camps.
