DIMAPUR — The Ura Academy (UA) is scheduled to organise the 53rd annual seminar on Tenyidie from May 24 to the 26th at Ura Academy Hall in Mission Compound, Kohima, on the theme 'Mother tongue: The power of our thought.'
A press release issued by the organisers informed that the inaugural session on May 24 would be attended by the president of Tenyimi People's Organisation (TPO), Timikha Koza, as guest of honour and address the inaugural session, while exhortation would be delivered by Deo Nukhu, member Ura Academy board of directors.
On May 25, there would be an orientation programmes, wherein keynote address would be delivered by Kikruneinuo Liezietsu, joint secretary of Ura Academy, while the resource persons would be Prof. Buno Liegise, Head of Education at Nagaland University, Kohima campus; Dr. Khotole Khieya, associate professor of Education at Nagaland University, Kohima campus; Dr. Metseilhouthie Mor, assistant professor at Pfütsero Government College; and Vizonyü Liezietsu.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]Meanwhile, the directorate of School Education has directed all the teachers of Modern Indian Language (Tenyidie) and Nagaland Heritage Studies to participate in the seminar.

The organisers informed that the Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho (TKK) conference would be held on May 26, wherein competitions on debate, essay writing, choir among high school and higher secondary schools, poetry writing and story writing would be conducted. It stated that the project director of TaFMA, Dr. Hovithal Sothu, would address the gathering on the importance of music and its scope.
Later in the evening, the president of Ura Academy, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, would preside over the valedictory function. The organisers have requested the Tenyidie well-wishers, elders, teachers, church leaders, student bodies and organisations to be a part of the programme.
