In an exciting final of the Inter State Under-19 T20 Tournament at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima, Nagaland (A) lost to Upper Assam team from Jorhat by only 9 runs. Earlier Nagaland Captain Sedezalie Rupreo won the toss and decided to field. Assam started well scoring 49 runs in the first 3 overs without loosing any wicket. Then Tahmeed claimed the first wicket in the 4th overs and two more wicket fell in one over with two batsman run out. At one stage Assam were 102 for 3, but collapsed to 104 all out with Tahmeed taking 3 wkts, supported by Nirmal- 3wkts. Nagaland started badly loosing five wickets with the score on 28 runs. Vinoh Zhimomi and Bittu tried to review the innings, but the whole team were all out it the score of 95 runs.
