Dimapur, Jan. 29 (EMN): In the 2nd quarterfinal of the 4th Unity Cup T-20 Cricket tournament played at the Chümoukedima local ground on Tue. Jan. 29, Hoito CC won the match by 22 runs against Lakers CC. According to an update from the Nepali Baptist Church Chümoukedima, Hoito CC won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 110 runs in 20 overs. Mukunt was the highest scorer for Hoito CC with 27 runs.
Kishan of Lakers CC scored 21 runs. Liton of Hoito CC was adjudged the man of the match.
The 3rd quarterfinal match had to be decided through a Super Over as the low scoring match ended in a tie. In the evening Chümoukedima Gorkha Youth CC won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 92 runs in 20 overs. Munna was the highest scorer for Chümoukedima Gorkha Youth CC with 26 runs. Team NIT Nagaland CC scored 10 runs in the super over and won the match by 6 runs. Shivendra of NIT Nagaland CC who scored 66 runs was adjudged as the man of the match.
