Dimapur, Dec 17: Unity College Students’ Council (UCSC), in collaboration with Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC)) of the College, organised a cultural day-cum-unity voice hunt (Second Edition) in the college premises.
In celebration of the students belonging to diverse cultures, all the students, well-wishers and members of Alumni Association attended the function in traditional attires.
There were presentations of cultural songs and dances, followed by felicitation of student achievers particularly Miss Vilokali, winner of Miss Nagaland contest; Miss Elizabeth, first runner up of Miss Dimapur contest; and Moang, bassist of SNF band; who won the recently concluded Hornbill International Rock contest.
The cultural event was followed by Unity Voice Hunt featuring eight contestants who were selected from an audition held in November. The panel of judges were members of AVANCER Rock Band. Meyisanen was adjudged the winner, while Miss Iuli Z Sumi was adjudged the runner-up.
