Imphal, June 30 (EMN): The minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology SS Ahluwalia interacted with local youths who are engaged in the field of Information Technology at Manipur Information Technology Park at Mantripukhri in Imphal on Saturday.
Most of the youths were from the three business process outsourcing (BPOs) namely Cube Ten Technologies Pvt. Ltd.; Unitrans Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Imphal; and RK Marvin Communication Pvt. Ltd., Imphal.
Also, the minister added that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Digital India Programme’ help boys and girls of the state in fulfilling their dreams particularly for working near at their home town. He furthered the interaction by saying that in India there were only two mobile companies in the year 2014. But, at present more than 120 mobile companies are in the country and even in Manipur many mobile companies are seeing.
On his arrival on Friday, Ahluwalia, while attending certificate distribution of skilled development courses at National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) at Akampat in Imphal, has advised the officials of NIELIT to arrange crash course for the media fraternity about the threats related to cyber world and digital media.
Stating that cyber crimes are taking place through invisible forces, he said that forwarding of messages and digital images are helping invisible forces which can be a threat to the country. He hoped that crash course can help the media persons to gain knowledge and further spread awareness to the masses regarding cyber related cases.
