Kohima, June 21 (EMN):
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has donated 150 oxygen concentrators to Nagaland government to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

"These much-needed OCs (oxygen concentrators) would be donated to the government medical facilities in the state of Nagaland for treatment of Covid-19 patients," read the UNICEF’s note which was made public by the government of Nagaland on Monday.

It added that the UNICEF is covered under the Privileges and Immunities Act No. XLVI of 1947 of the government of India and the Basic Agreement of 1947.

While informing about the donation, the state government also tweeted that “the state remains highly grateful for the partnership with UNICEF”.
