Uncomplicated: MLTR to paint Dimapur on Blue Night of December 15

In collaboration with the Seven Sisters Entertainment form Delhi, event managers LiveNow Events is all set to celebrate 25 years of Michael Learns to Rock (or, as fans call them ‘MLTR’) by hosting a tour for the Danish band in India. It’s on December 15 in Dimapur. Nagaland is a state of music lovers and they are all set to welcome the award-winning pop/soft rock group. Formed in 1988, the band has sold over 11 million records worldwide, mainly in Asia, and in addition, another 6 million or more paid downloads for their single “Take Me To Your Heart” which was awarded “most downloaded single of the year 2006”. The band has recorded eight studio albums as well as a number of live and greatest hits albums. The band’s eighth studio album, Scandinavia, was released in 2012. MLTR has won many awards and has earned Gold and Platinum status for records in many countries, as well as the Gold Preis Award from RSH, Germany and “The Best Performing Act of the Year” at the SEA Grammy Awards in Singapore. The band has attributed its success in Asia to a clean-living image and to singing in English as a second language.LiveNow Events is an events management company founded in 2015 by various organizations and individual that shared a belief for different levels of entertainment to the North-Eastern states of India. The group comprises various production events and groups such as Audio Garage, Metal Gear, Shiu Lights, Spearhead design, Encore Music Sotre, Rock Star E I Pvt. Ltd., Soloist, The Garden, etc. During a recent conference, members of LiveNow Events offered glimpses into the scheduled show of MLTR to the region and state. The band is celebrating its 25 years of existence by touring various cities in India during its short stay in the subcontinent. The band will first perform for New Delhi on December 11, following by Guwahati on December 13, before they perform on December 15. The three-member band and 15 other official members will be coming to Nagaland on December 14 and will leave on December 16. Following that, the band will head to Kolkata on December 17 before finally concluding their tour in Goa on December 19. The only commercial hub of Nagaland Dimapur will experience a night of international music with MLTR performing live onstage at the NEZCC on December 15. The ‘Paint My Love’ hit-makers comprising vocal-keyboard player Jascha Richter, Kare Wanscher on Drums and Mikkel Lentz on guitar has sold over 11 million records worldwide mainly in Asia. During the conference, the members said that the reason behind choosing NEZCC as the venue was on consideration of security, infrastructure, ‘no traffic chaos’ and that it was a peaceful location which would be an added advantage for the concert. The price of the tickets is Rs. 10,000 (for two) for donors along with a dinner with MLTR at Niathu Resort post concert; Rs. 1500 for front row, and for the middle row, Rs. 800.
