DIMAPUR — The Tenyimi Youth Organisation Dimapur (TYOD) has strongly condemned the killing and mutilation of six Nagas in Manipur.
In a press release, the TYOD expressed profound shock, disbelief, and deepest outrage over the horrific, barbaric, and merciless killing of six innocent Nagas in Manipur.
"The sheer brutality of this act, where human lives were snuffed out without an ounce of mercy and their bodies subjected to grotesque, inhuman mutilation, has left the entire Naga community and any right-thinking citizen in a state of deep mourning and intense anger," the release stated.
Describing the act as a direct assault on humanity, the organisation stated that such extreme savagery belongs to a dark, lawless era and has no place in a civilised society. The TYOD noted that no grievance, political aspiration, or conflict can ever justify the cold-blooded slaughter and subsequent mutilation of human beings.

The organisation called upon civil society organisations, human rights groups, religious leaders, and citizens across communities and regions to speak out in unison against the act, stating that silence in the face of such terror is tantamount to complicity.
The TYOD demanded that both the Government of India and the Government of Manipur immediately initiate a thorough, transparent, and time-bound investigation into the massacre. It urged that the perpetrators and conspirators be apprehended and handed the harshest possible punishment under the law.
The organisation assured the families that the entire Naga fraternity stands unyieldingly with them, sharing their pain and promising to stand by them to ensure justice is served.
