DIMAPUR — One unidentified male (non-Naga) was found dead in Dimapur on Thursday near the Dimapur Government College waiting shed.
According to a police officer, they received the information regarding it at around 6 a.m., after which they took the body for postmortem.
He added that the body had no visible injuries and that the cause of death could only be determined after reviewing the postmortem report.
The body had not been claimed till the time of filing this report and was still in the morgue. However, the police had notified the Hindu Samaj to assist in identifying the body.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]On the same day, another unidentified body of a male was discovered on the roadside near the DMC Office in Dimapur.
According to a press note by the Dimapur police, the person should be between the ages of 45 and 50 years, and on completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital Dimapur mortuary for postmortem examination/identification.
The police has also requested that the claimant, relatives, or friends of the deceased contact the officer-in-charge, SBN PS Dimapur (7085055026), regarding the same.
