Diphu, Aug. 19 (EMN): Two schoolchildren drowned in Patradisha River in Bokolia Police Station in Diphu, Assam on Sunday. The incident occurred around 10 am when a group of eight students went to take bath in the river ‘to beat the scorching heat,’ according to sources.
The victims have been identified as a Songja Ronghang and one Songsar Engti of Bakalia Hills Academy, both students of class-10. The body of Songja Ronghang was yet to be recovered till the filing of this report.
