Two persons from Nagaland arrested in Assam

Dimapur, July 18 (EMN):
Two persons were arrested at Bokajan in Assam in a joined operation by Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCC), Forest department and Assam police on Sunday.

Sub-division police officer, Bokajan, John informed Eastern Mirror that acting on specific information, the joint team conducted an operation at Cement Cooperation of India (CCI) factory gate and recovered 10 gecko snakes and 10 kg of Chinese Pangolin skin from two persons, namely Khoto Rhakho and Ilungheu Kuame, both from Nagaland.

According to the police official, one of the arrested individual Khoto Rhakho is an IRB personnel headquartered at Aboi, Mon. It was informed that a case has being taken up by Forest department, Assam.
