prominent personalities were honoured for their exceptional contributions to
society during a ceremony held at Union CRC, New Market Road in Kohima on
Sunday.
- Dr. Neingulo Krome, secretary general of the Naga People’s
Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR), was awarded honourary doctor of human rights
protection with gold medal in the field of human rights advocacy.
- His tireless dedication to justice and human rights has had
a profound impact on safeguarding the rights and dignity of the people.
- Deacon Saneilie Venyo, an evangelist, was awarded honorary
royal nobel prize diploma with gold medal in the field of Bible literature
publication.
- He was honoured for his outstanding contributions to
Christian literature and education, fostering spiritual growth while preserving
cultural heritage through his publications.
- Dr. DL Sanchu, president of the World University of
Discipleship Institute for Apostolic Ministries, stated that the awards were
presented under strategic partnership collaboration with 193 countries,
facilitated by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs
(UNDESA).
- The awards were personally conferred by Dr. DL Sanchu, who
is also the head of the World University of Discipleship Institute for
Apostolic Ministries. The institution itself is authorised under SSU-Section
2(F) UGC Act 1956, Government of India.
