Dimapur, April 12 (EMN): Two of the seven candidates that represented the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) passed the BCCI manual scorer’s course.
According to an update from the NCA on Friday, the BCCI conducted a crash course for manual scorer for the states of Mizoram, Manipur and Nagaland in Dimapur from April 8 to 11. Out of 21 candidates, two from Nagaland and two from Mizoram passed the course.
Nagaland Cricket Association congratulated Neiketouzo Kire (83%) from Dimapur and Rajesh Mondal (80%) from Peren for their success in the first attempt and hoped to utilise their services to officiate both local and BCCI matches in the near future. The Nagaland Cricket Association also requested the BCCI to conduct more courses for the video analyst, scorers – both manual and online and also for umpires so as to build up its own batch of match officials which will promote the game in Nagaland.
