Imphal, May 8 (EMN): Two-day workshop with the vice-chancellors (VCs) and registrars of all central universities and ministry of Education funded deemed to be universities in the Northeast concluded in Imphal on May 7.
Union Minister of State for Education, Dr RK Ranjan Singh attended the inaugural function of the workshop on Friday. Vice Chancellor of Manipur University (MU), Prof. N Lokendra gave the welcome address, while Kamini Chauhan Ratan, Joint Secretary of department of Education gave the opening remark of the seminar. VCs of the universities made presentations during the seminar for discussion.
A cultural programme was also held at the Centenary Hall of MU on Friday. Altogether, 29 VCs and registrars attended and shared their issues during the workshop.
