Two-day Arju Autumn Fest Tuli 2019 concludes

The Arju Autumn Fest Tuli 2019 organised by Community Educational Centre Society (CECS) concluded on Friday, Oct. 11. An update issued on Oct. 11 informed that Tongpang Ozukum, Minister of Housing, Mechanical who as the special guest on the inaugural day expressed hope that the festival would gradually become a mega event as the festival has the potential to reach out to more people, tap in more talents and to promote entrepreneurship as well as promote tourism in Tuli particular and Nagaland in general and further bringing developments along with it. The event was hosted by the multi-talented Mengu Soukhrie where she kept the crowd enthralled with her charm and mellow voice. The event saw performances from different artists such as Zuchobeni Tungoe, Sunep Lemtur, Toshimoa Jamir and Dreamz Unlimited. The bands contesting for the Battle of the Band performed two songs one cover and one original each during the contest. The competing bands included the Paradigm Shift from Dimapur, Amalgamates from Mokokchung, Dynamic Cardioid from Mokokchung and Orange from Dimapur. (EMN)
