Dimapur, Dec. 13 (EMN): Tuophema village has announced to observe the 13th Hutuophezou Day on December 29 at Tuophema village Ampitheatre. Hutuophezou Day is an event held once in every five years. It is an occasion of get-together as well as census enumeration of the descendants of Tuophema village.
All the diaspora of Tuophema village, particularly from Razhaphe, Razhaphe Basa, Tuophe Phezou and Botsa villages as well as from Kohima and Dimapur are informed to compulsorily attend the occasion. A special invitation is being extended to all in-laws and their families.
Information secretary, Kechangulie Kense informed that an extravaganza night would be organised by the Tuophema youth organisation on December 28 in honour of its descendants coming from outside the village.
He added that accommodation and logistics would be provided by the Tuophema village council for those coming from outside the village.
All the descendants of Tuophema village are requested to reach its ancestral village Tuophema on December 28.
