Diphu, June 16 (EMN): Tuliram Ronghang will head the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) as the Chief Executive Member (CEM) for the third consecutive term.
He will be sworn-in on June 20 in the presence of Assam Governor Professor Jagadish Mukhi. This was announced by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during an interaction with the media on the concluding day of Assam BJP state executive meeting held at Diphu.
The new members of the autonomous council will also take oath on the same day. The executive council will be formed under the leadership of Ronghang and the appointment of the executive members would be done shortly, he added.
