Diphu, Nov. 25 (EMN): Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council(KAAC), Chief Executive Member (CEM), Tuliram Ronghang inaugurated the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra of National Skill Development Corporation Centre(Skill India development Centre) at Taralangso, under Hamren Constituency, West Karbi Anglong on Sat.
During the inaugural programme, Ronghang expressed that self employment is the best policy to stand up on one’s own feet and while stating that striving relentlessly to solve unemployment problems faced among the youths of Karbi Anglong for a long time.
Ronghang also laid foundation stone including Water Harvesting under the MGMREGA scheme at Rongkhang Block Magurmari, Garo village Area.
He also laid a foundation stone for construction of market shed under one time special grant from the government of Assam for an estimated amount of Rs. 15 lacs.
Foundation stone for construction of C.C block pavement road from Baligaon PWD road to Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalay with an estimated amount of Rs 35 lacs under One Time Special Grant and the foundation for construction of Concrete Block Pavement Road for an estimated amount of Rs 40 lacs under Panchayat and Rural Development Department from Tumpreng Gondabil to PWD road comprising of 800 metres.
