Tuensang’s DEO directs govt. employees to be in station

Dimapur, May 1 (EMN): ith the announcement of the schedule for the bye-election to the 1-Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency by the Election Commissioner of India, the district election officer of Tuensang, L Jamithung Lotha in an order issued to media on Tuesday has directed all the government employees of the district to be in station with immediate effect. DEO said all head of offices should ensure their presence, their subordinate officers and staff in their respective place of posting. Permission for station leave on official duty shall be obtained from the deputy commissioner with clear and specific details of such duty. Any government employee on leave of absence on medical ground shall be recalled for appearing in person before the medical board. Disciplinary action shall be initiated against any errant officials as Per Section 134 of the RP Act 1951, the notification stated.
