Tuensang, October 27
The Tuensang District Planning and Development Board meeting was held at DC’s Conference Hall Tuensang on 27th October 2015.
The meeting was attended by the all the elected members of the legislative assembly namely, Parliamentary Secretary for HorticultureKejong Chang, Parliamentary Secretary for Municipal affairs, Economics and Statistics R. Tohanba, Parliamentary Secretary for NRE, Fire and Emergency Services Toyang Changkhong Chang, and member of Legislative Assembly CM Chang and almost all the designated members of the forum.
The meeting was presided over by chairman of the Tuensang DPDB and Parliamentary Secretary R Tohanba. The finalization of LADP 2015-16 was opened for the house to discuss and rectification and approved for all five assemblies constituencies of Tuensang District.
The forum discussed an agenda for the opening up of St. Christopher School at Chessore Village and was approved to send for the government s approval. The forum was enlightened on the memorandum of Government regarding the criteria/ guideline to be fulfilled to apply for the registration of the society registration.
The house reviewed the case study and areas of function of the societies and the house approved to forward two Societies for the approval of the Government Viz, Surjudaya Society Tuensang and Strangers United Club Tuensang. Agenda on opening up of Royal Kids Residential School at New Tsaru village was discussed and approved to be forwarded for the government’s approval.
