Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): Tuensang observed ‘Ayushman Bharat Pakhwara’ to commemorate one year anniversary of Ayushman Bharat on September 19 with T Tochi Chang, president of All Wards Union Tuensang Town (AWUTT) as the special guest.
To mark the occasion, a walkathon programme was organised from Clock Tower junction to CMO office, Tuensang, stated Apheang, district media officer in an update.
The launching programme of the integrated community sensitisation-cum-BIS drive was also held at CMO conference hall, Tuensang. During the programme, beneficiaries namely Shou and Shillem shared their testimony.
The best performing PMAMS was conferred to Themyem, PHC Longpang. S Khengo and Changsangke were also awarded certificate along with cash prizes for achieving the top CSC-VLE BIS. Health screening camps and BIS drive were also conducted.
The event was attended by different vertical programme officers under Medical department, Urban Development department, Social Welfare department, presidents from different wards/ sectors, town council members, urban ASHAs, SHGs and AWWs.
