Dimapur, Sep. 10 (EMN): The Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) discussed various agenda at its meeting held in the deputy commissioner's (DC) conference hall on Thursday. The meeting was presided over by Tuensang DC Kumar Ramnikant, who is also the board's vice chairman.
The members reviewed the latest standard operating procedure (SOP) issued by the state government and agreed to follow and disseminate the same to the public for the safety of everyone, informed a DIPR update.
The house discussed on the creation of new RD Block office for Chingmei range village and decided to forward it to the government for approval, including construction of extra assistant commissioner and staff quarters.
The agenda to transfer of DDOs and office files of respective departments concerning C/saddle, New Chingmei, Chingmei, Waoshu, Yimpang and Taknyu were discussed and decided to examine further before forwarding it to the government for approval.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Shamator T Lankonsen Tsanglao said that since the lockdown began, many government employees have been missing in the sub-division for months. Therefore, all the absentee employees and officers have been directed to be in the station at the earliest.
The house also welcomed a new member, Sub-Divisional Officer Rohit Singh.
