TSUD supports teachers’ demand

Dimapur, March, 5 (EMN): Tenyimi students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) strongly supported the Nagaland RMSA, SSA and CSS Hindi teachers’ demands for early release of their pending salary. Stating that TSUD was appalled to learn that aggrieved RMSA, SSA and Hindi teachers have been denied their salary for more than 9 months, it stated that teachers’ phase wise agitation was justified and deserve utmost importance. A press note by TSUD president Azo Wetsah and general secretary A. Shyerhunlo Lorin, appealed to the concerned department and concerned minister to take the issue with utmost seriousness and ensure the future of the students, which lies in the hands of teachers. TSUD added that students community are worst effected when teachers couldn’t attend the classes regularly due to non release of their salary. Further, it expressed hope that the concerned authority takes action for the interest of both students and the teachers.
