KOHIMA — The
Tsiesema Village Multipurpose-cum-Badminton Hall was inaugurated on Saturday at
the Tsiesema local ground in Kohima.
It was constructed under the Local Area Development
Programme (LADP) 2023-24 as an iconic project and inaugurated by Vibeilietuo
Kets, special assistant to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, according to an
update.
Speaking on the occasion, Kets thanked Chief Minister
Neiphiu Rio for creating numerous assets through the LADP within the Northern
Angami II Assembly Constituency.
Apart from hosting indoor games, Kets said that the hall
will also facilitate social gatherings, workshops, and seminars, and serve as
an important centre for fostering unity and peace within the community.
He urged the public to take care of the assets being created
by the government and make the most of them.
Highlighting the project report, Kechalhoubei Talie informed
that the iconic project has been constructed at a cost of INR 57.20 lakh.
